What is always included
- The return flight, with hand luggage and airport taxes.
- All transfers: from the airport to your hotel, back again, and on a tour all the drives between destinations as well.
- All nights, with the meals stated for that trip. On a tour that is usually breakfast and dinner; at a beach hotel, all-inclusive.
- A tour leader or driver on the ground, from our own partner.
- The entrance fees and guided visits listed in the daily programme.
- No booking fees. The amount you see is the amount you pay.
What is deliberately not included
Hold luggage, lunches, drinks outside the stated meals, tips, optional excursions, travel and cancellation insurance and the local tourist tax are not included.
That is a choice. If we built all of those in, the amount would look higher than it needs to be for everyone who will not use them. Two travellers with hand luggage do not help pay for someone else’s suitcases here.
The tourist tax stays out because hotels collect it locally and it differs by city. Allow a few euros per person per night.
How and when you pay
You pay 30 per cent of the trip price as a deposit. The balance is due no later than 42 days before departure; that date is on your travel confirmation. If you book within those 42 days you pay in one go, and you see that before you agree.
Your trip is only settled once we have confirmed every component. You will hear that from us; the confirmation is the proof, not the payment.
Your money is protected through the GGTO guarantee fund. That protection applies to travellers from across the European Union, not only from the Netherlands.
