Sultan Travel B.V. handles your personal data with care. Here you can read which data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with and what rights you have.
Who is responsible for your data?

Which data do we collect?
When you submit a request, we ask for:
- your name
- your contact details, such as phone number and email address
- your travel wishes, such as destination and period
- the number of travellers and their ages
We also keep the messages you send us and information about your request or booking.
We only ask for passport details after a booking, not for a non-binding request. We then need them to book flights and accommodation in the correct name.
What do we use it for, and on what basis?
- Answering your request, making a proposal, booking and carrying out your trip, processing payments and helping you on the way or with a complaint. Basis: performance of the contract, including steps taken at your request before a contract is concluded.
- Improving the website and our services, keeping our records and preventing misuse or fraud. Basis: legitimate interest.
If we need your consent for another purpose, we will ask for it separately. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time.
Who do we share your data with?
We only share your data to the extent necessary to arrange your trip and keep our services running, with:
- local partners in the destination country
- airlines and hotels in the destination country
- a payment service provider that processes your payment
- technical service providers, for example for hosting and email
Some of these parties are established outside the European Union, in the country you travel to. We only share data there to the extent necessary to carry out your trip.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Data from requests that do not lead to a booking is kept for a limited time. Booking data is kept for as long as needed to carry out the trip and handle any complaints, and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for our accounts.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have data erased or processing restricted
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest
- have your data transferred in a common format
- withdraw consent you have given
Send your request to info@sultantravel.nl. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within one month.
Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). If you live in another EU country, you can also contact the supervisory authority of your country.
