Four imperial cities, four dynasties. You follow the sultans of Morocco, from the palaces of Moulay Ismaïl to the Marinid madrasas, and see the cities from the inside.

Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in CasablancaWelcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Casablanca and RabatThe Hassan II Mosque from the outside. In Rabat, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Then on to Fès.
Day 3: Meknès and VolubilisMeknès, the city of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl, with Bab Mansour and the stables for 12,000 horses. A picnic at Volubilis overlooking the Roman ruins; entry is paid locally.
Day 4: Fès, the oldest imperial cityWith a local guide through the medina: the Attarine Madrasa (entry included), the tanneries and a coppersmith. In the afternoon, a cooking class with a Moroccan family.
Day 5: Through the Middle Atlas to MarrakechA long but beautiful drive past the olive groves of the Middle Atlas to Marrakech.
Day 6: The Marrakech of the sultansA guided city tour: the Ben Youssef Madrasa (entry included), the Koutoubia, the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace from the outside, and Jemaa el-Fna square.
Day 7: A free day and a palace dinnerA free day in Marrakech. In the evening, dinner in a palace riad.
Day 8: DepartureTransfer to the airport.
